Chatchawarn Ruksa

Born and raised in Udon Thani ,Thailand 1970.  I have started watercolor painting in 2005 by taking a beginner course with Master Kosol Pinkul, a renown Watercolor Artist/Instructor of Thailand.  After that, I have been practicing landscape, cityscape, still life and of course, animal painting.  

My first cats painting was when a little girl asking me to paint a cat for her in a limited time so I did a wet on wet technique on it. The result was surprisingly great since the cat’s fur looks so soft and fluffy and the overall work was really satisfied.

From then on,  I have seriously put total efforts on cats painting, which becomes my main works of watercolor.  Up to now, and in the future, I still and will continue to learn and try.
