ERIC CHIH

Ming Yuen Chih was born and raised in Hong Kong.  At the age of 17, he went overseas studying in Perth of Australia, and later on in Adelaide and eventually in Wellington of New Zealand.  Ming Yuen graduated from the school of architecture in 1994 and have practiced as a registered architect in Hong Kong.  He found CHIH Design Ltd in 2004 and has been a director of the company ever since.

Ming Yuen’s involvement in the world of art was not only practice related but also through his teaching in architectural presentation in universities and art institutions. (1996-2007 Chu Hai University, 2000-2002 Hong Kong University SPACE, 2013-2014 Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts).  In 2020, when the world lock down from within, Ming Yuen began sharing his love in watercolor painting on-line.  The on-line sharing quickly grew to hundreds of people over a number of Aasin countries.  Ming Yuen held his first art exhibition in year 2023 and is now continuing in finding new directions for his watercolor paintings.
